That's because they're used to Windows which
has a completely broken command
line. I've been using Linux for three years, coming from an entirely Windows
background and frankly the CLI interface in Linux seemed like a huge step
forward to me
the CLI on linux is a step backwards coming from windows. why? if you
want good ol' bash you can have a fully functioning native version of
that running in RXVT just by installing MinGW... plus you have MSH.
which there currently exists no equivalent on linux, or BSD for that
matter..
