Oops, I just realised that there is a new ALSA out (1.0.23), maybe I
should try that one?
snd-ua101 should have been in 1.0.22. However, it's likely that Ubuntu
uses the kernel drivers, and there snd-ua101 did not go in before
2.6.34-rc1.
