several good uses for that sort of information. but just like that, it

not knowing anything. - Spam? No. But very obscure that way.

It seems valid and valuable.
Anyway, it's hard to find a reason not to give away the information
demanded, unless you want to hide your work from the public. Any bot can
scrape that from your homepage and social media.
