True. And those unconvincing demos are in almost all cases the result
of systems being set up by people who either don't understand what
they are doing, or are using information that is plain wrong or at
least of very dubious quality. There's a lot of that around in
particular on the web.
What is your literature recommendation for those who want to understand
before they are setting up unconvincing demo systems? Can you give
specific recommendations for
- overview on theory
- finding decoding matrix for regular layout
- the same for irregular layout (probably the mentioned one?)
- subjective performance compared to other systems (localization,
quality, sweet spot etc)
- practical issues (maybe the many LAC papers?)
