In the next distribution I will remove the permissions from the script in
the source directory, or give another name, to prevent this from happening.

What happens if you launch the script in
the bin directory
instead
of src ? Normally you'll find it there after compilation.
That works. Very strange (although there probably is a perfectly sane
technical explanation, that most users wouldn't want to know about).
