I'm wondering if anyone knows the right kernel package to run with
Mandriva 2008.1. Maybe I have to create my own, but I'm not too
happy about that as it tends to break things like proprietary kernel
modules, at least when *I* build a kernel.
Any thoughts on this folks?

I'm running 2008.1 x86_64 with RT kernel. 2.6.21-rc5-rt12 #3 SMP
PREEMPT Nvidia modules too... works fine
