One weird
thing: i have one .ogg file on the player, it is one of the great
songs by Dave Phillips found on
http://linux-sound.org/ardour-music.html,
that causes the player to stop and freeze/power down, then the only way to
wake it up is to reset it or to connect it to the computer...
Is it perhaps using the same chip/firmware as the iRiver IFP players?
Those can only handle Vorbis files within a certain bitrate range - I
have to encode files specially for the player with a minimum and maximum
bitrate.
Not sure, a quick google search gave me a data sheet without info on the used
chip, but could that really be the case? it plays the song till the end and
_then_ freezes... without powering down btw, i was wrong about that.
