What have you set the buffer sizes to in icecast and RealPlayer? That
kind of programs typically have very large buffers.
I couldn't figure out where to do that for RealPlayer, or for icecast.
In icecast I turned off the burst thing. Is the queue size in the conf
file the same as buffer size?
Don't know, sorry. I just remember that when I tried to setup a live
feed using Icecast of me playing keyboard with Zyn I didn't get under
15-20 seconds using XMMS for playing (or much much more when
broadcasting digital silence, since I didn't manage to set the OGG
encoder to use a fixed bitrate). I didn't try that hard though, and it
was almost a year ago.
