Hi,
I bought three of these recently for a project -
http://www.camsecure.co.uk/Camsecure_usb_video.html We were using two
at a time, and they worked great with Ubuntu 12.04. They use a lot of
USB bandwidth though - needs a bus to itself really. Even trying to
copy to a flash drive at the same time stopped the stream. The other
issue is the amount of stuff that uses the EasyCap or EZCap name -
worth finding a distributor who advertises Linux compatibility like
this if you can.
Hope that's some help.
Best wishes,
Neil

Are any of you using a video capture USB dongle?
I'd like to record
some TV stuff to my laptop. I've tried to look at "what works" via the
linux device wiki, but end up finding way too many discontinued items
:)
