I've just put XJackFreak up on github so you can try it out.
XJackFreak is an GNU/Linux/X11 Jack Audio app that displays the FFT
frequency spectrum. It can even do some EQ as well!

That screenshot look quite impressive.
I'll try to include XJackFreak in the next Musix release if it's possible.
