I have my HDSP Digiface
working with ALSA 1.0.8 under linux 2.4.27, but
last night I tried to get it working with 2.6.11rc2-RT, which was to no
positive result. So to me it seems that this is a compatibility issue
with ALSA 1.0.8 and kernel 2.6, because it works with 2.4
