I thought them-audio had 4x4 ...?
As I understand it, the 4 analog inputs + 2 SPDIF inputs divide into 2
channels (left/right) each, so you could record 12 tracks at once. But
you could also think of it as 6 channels with left/right pan on each.
I'm pretty sure the analogue ins are balanced, no stereo.

I think that the card that is used for the 44, 66, 1010LT, and 1010
is the same card. They are all capable of 12 I/O but the interface is
not complete unless you get the 1010LT or 1010.
