A more useful measure would be the lowest latency
settings + kernel
combination that does not produce xruns during normal playback/capture.
Another crucial criteria for me is when I load a wav file into
TerminatorX, with my setting I have no xruns, but at lower settings
it gives xruns... perhaps this is not also a valuable mesure :)
