A nice thing would be a jack transport slave that outputs midi clock events with
adjustable tpq....
Seq24 actually does that since it can be jack transport slave and output midi clock to a
specified alsa port, still you'll get the sequencer with it ;) . A dedicated app would
indeed be a useful thing for many of us I think.

Hi everyone,
Atte's recent thread about sync got me to thinking about
MIDI clock.
Is there a simple app out there that will generate MIDI
clock at a
tempo can can be defined? If not, would one of you
scripting/programming wizards be willing (or able, if what
