It isn't. jalv if a standalone JAck LV2 host.
For future reference, you could compile the whole 'lad' repo in one go:
svn checkout http://lv2plug.in/repo/trunk lv2
cd lv2; ./waf configure [..opts..] && ./waf && sudo ./waf install
svn co http://svn.drobilla.net/lad/trunk lad
cd lad; ./waf configure [..opts..] && ./waf && sudo ./waf install
That will do the same (and a bit more) in the right order.
