all usb-soundcard run as 1.0 devices under linux?
Nope. But all usb-standard-complaint(?)-devices following the
usb-audio-standard work in linux without any special vendors support...
If the vendor claims that the device works on apple without any special
driver, its a good chance it also works on linux.
But don't nail me on that. ;-)
