Hmm, some people seem to have the impression that
Linux
audio is the byzantine beast that it is because Linux users
like it that way.
Hehe :) .
This could not be farther from the
truth. Many of us are working feverishly to make it "Just
Work" the way Mac and Windows do.
We all know that, and we all help together to create the
software we simply need.
On the other hand, I dislike the comparison with Mac or
Windows. I do not want to see Linux becoming a Mac or Windows
clone; I expect that we do things *better* than others do.
And the community has done a lot of things better then it is
done on other operating systems.
