I find it hard to imagine a MIDI master keyboard that would keep track
of pressed keys instead of simply passing switch actions through as CC
msgs, but certainly I haven't seen everything under the sun yet. :)

You can check with a midi monitor if the pedals
affects sending the
"Note off" messages, instead of just listening to the sound produced
by the sampler
