If you're talking about rtirq, you can find the last known one here:
http://www.rncbc.org/jack/rtirq-20060819.tar.gz
Installation consists on copying only two files (as root), a
configuration file and the shell script, respectively:
cp rtirq.conf /etc/sysconfig/rtirq cp rtirq.sh /etc/init.d/rtirq
Interesting, in Ubuntu I don't have /etc/sysconfig. Anyone
successfully use this script in Ubuntu?
As I said, my experience on debian is almost null. But take note of one
thing: once you or someone else figure out where to put the configuration
file, be sure to edit and change the new path in the rtirq script
(RTIRQ_CONFIG setting on line 46).
I didn't mention but the rtirq script only makes sense on a
realtime-preempt enabled kernel (aka ingo's patch), and you also need
`chrt` and `pidof` system utilities around; and/or schedutils installed,
don't even know if this is the name of the providing package in debian.
I read that this patch has been adopted into the kernel. The rest of
what you're saying... I don't think I have time, maybe I will try
later. Thanks anyway.
