[linux-audio-user] installing festival

Hi all! Does anyone have practical experience with installing festival? I tried it earlier, but it didn't work out. First some info on my system: suse linux 8.2 kernel: 2.4.19 gcc3.2 (or 3.1) The usual libraries So then: What do I need to install the festival synthesizer, festvox-voices and a tts system? Can I use some mbrola tts-tool? I'd like to install festival from the sources. If this is advisable and realiseable without dificulties.
