I had actually heard this first in a translation in Italian (similar

The overall blend of lyrics, the way they are spoken and the musical
setting (looping harmony, blended timbres, final 'plucked-strings'
phrase) remind me quite a bit of Mike Oldfield music.

IMHO you could experiment with leaving longer pauses between phrases.
with some further 'foreground movements' in the music.

Anyway, I wanted to know what tools (hw/sw) you used
for the musical background. And the effects (compressor
on the voice?) and so on.
If you feel in the mood to give some details, that
would be a nice reading for me! If you have no time
or if you don't like giving details, no problem.
