is this a latency thing? I know I haven't
maximized my latency, I'm running
the redhat kernel from planet ccrma, not the actual planet ccrma kernel and
when I check to see if low latency is turned on, I find that I don't even
have a low latency patch :)
It is there, it just does not have the /proc controlling code activated
(so it is _always_ "on"). While it is not as good as the Planet CCRMA
kernel in terms of latency it could not account for a 0.5sec difference
in latency...
