Hi,
So far, I have only used it under Windows, with satisfactory results to my ears, no idea
as far as latency is concerned, and anyway there was a heavy software background with
Console, a VST convolver, filters ... (I did not use the card's DACs, except for
subwoofer).
For RME and Linux, I am a complete beginner... I saw somewhere that AIO is well supported
in Alsa since year 2010, and from what I discovered these last days, it looks true. I saw
that many issues talken about in the linux forums where written at an earlier date...
Cheers
Francois

Hello.
Sorry for hijacking the thread, but I'm curious.
In general, how well does HDSPe Aio work?
What latency are you getting?
I'm thinking of buying it, but I've been reading mixed reports on it.
Mostly that it doesn't work well.
As far as I know, out of RME's pci-e stuff only Multiface2 is properly
supported by alsa.
I'm also curious about HDSPe AES.
How well does it work?
Thank, You!

hdspmixer : phones, SPDIF,AES and analog all work fine. Now i'm left with the task to
introduce brutefir in the process. My guess is that it is another story !!!

(thank you Thomas) but not straightforward hdspmixer lacks a good "how to" file
somewhere...
