I have an amd64 processor, with presently no
sound (the audio CD that
came with the Computer is designed for Windows Vista.) I am using Linux,
and I burned a CD list using xcdroast; but I get no sound when I play it
back on my portable CD player.
My sister's CD player will not play burnt CDs, but they will play on
my medium priced stereo system.
I would suspect the player.
