Thanks Ralf; I gave that a shot, just this line in alsa-base.conf, but no dice. options snd slots=snd_usb_audio after reboot, I still get this: **** List of PLAYBACK Hardware Devices **** card 0: sunxicodec [sunxi-CODEC], device 0: M1 PCM [sunxi PCM] Subdevices: 1/1 Subdevice #0: subdevice #0 card 1: Pro [Sound Blaster X-Fi Go!
