Well, I'm kicking in a bit on the tardy side but I tend to use
podget. It is a bit futzy because you have to edit it's server.list
file and put your URLs in by hand but once done it works pretty
well. You just run it to update the database and files and if you
delete the file/files it doesn't redownload them.
