Not exactly. I know of Alsaplayer, but I am
looking for something that

allow me to stream via MP3 format from a JACK
enabled application like
AlsaPlayer to a shoutcast server. It would probably be a JACK client.
Pd should be able to do that. I have used Pd to stream sound to an
icecast2 server using the oggcast externals. There also are
shoutcast/shoutamp externals which I never tried. But see
