Is there an existing script or app for Linux that will
recurse through my
MP3 archive and check to see that the samplerate of every file is 44.1KHz
so it only re-encodes those that don't match my spec?
I fail to see the point here. MP3 is and end-of-the-road format. Any
kind of re-encoding will cause severe loss of quality.
What is the reason you want all your MP3s to have 44.1KHz samplerate?
Problems with players?
