Speaking about USB audio IFs... It appears that the USB2 devices have
problems with USB3 ports (Like the 1818vsl). See:

I don't know if this has been fixed by Intel since Ivy. It appears to be a
hardware problem with Intel's chipset where the only workaround is to
remove the USB3 driver/kernel module and use all the USB3 ports as USB2
ports.
