I do it frequently with my Casio CZ101. As the other replies have stated
you have to make two connections, one for the audio I/O (JACK patch bay
e.g. qjackctl) and one for the MIDI routing (ALSA e.g. aconnect,
kaconnect, ALSA MIDI patch bay).
