[linux-audio-user] VXpocket problems

Hello all- I have a Digigram VXpocket v2 sound card for my Fujitsu laptop, and have gotten as far as adding entries in /etc/pcmcia/config to get the card recognized by cardmgr on insertion, and adding the lines alias snd-card-1 snd-vxpocket alias sound-slot-1 snd-vxpocket post-install snd-vxpocket /usr/bin/vxloader to /etc/modules.conf. But the card is not recognized by ALSA. I'm running Fedora Core 1 with Planet CCRMA, kernel 2.4.26-1.ll.rhfc1.ccrma, and all my alsa packages are 1.0.4-1.cvs.rhfc1.ccrma. I am totally stumped as to why the vxloader program won't see my card. I'm apparently using version 1.0 of vxloader, and I've found that there is a slightly newer version of the program (1.0.5) that I will try as soon as I can. Does anyone have any ideas about this problem? Any help much appreciated. Thanks Jacob Last
