I have another Linux distribution on my computer, linux AV6. The soundcard
is recognized and works without problems.
So I think the dip switches on the unit selection of the dsp2000 are ok.
When I reboot to Ubuntu with cold boot the soundcard is not recognized any
more.
The card appear in the output of lspci but not in /proc/asound/cards.
cat /proc/asound/cards

Does it appear in the output of lspci?
If yes, what is its "lspci -v" output?
