with ALSA and that no work is going on with ALSA to rectify this,
maybe in part caused by RME being closed about their design. Is your
RME new or old? Does it work fine?
The Firewire RME hardware won't work with Linux. The PCI HDSP hardware
works wonderfully under Linux. I'm using a Multiface II
