And I can listen Radio Paradise vith VLC (network works, too) with that
very latest linux vanilla kernel.

Of course I should work many hours with that kernel so I can say
something about it's stability in Ubuntu Studio 9.04.
But yes, you can build it in Ubuntu Studio 9.04, if you like to try that
one over Ubuntu's own.
And my desktop machine is pure Intel, no NVidia/ATI or something like
that. And soundcard is Delta 66, integrated audio disabled by bios.
