According to Ingo this bug should be fixed in the
latest -rt kernel.
thanks for your assertiveness on this one Lee (would have never wandered in lkml land on
my own..) it does indeed boot now, was getting a panic but that turned out to be 'dont
disable acpi, its necessary' and nothing related to preempt..have yet to do any stress
testing but booting properly is major progress indeed..
