Thanks! That did it. I just added:
LFLAGS = -L/usr/local/qwt-5.0.2/lib
to the src/Makefile and it built.

Hector,
Will you be so kind to report a concrete Qt4 version you are using?
The thing is, v.0.22 was released to work with Qt v.4.3.0, and I had
not a chance to try QLoud v.0.22 with earlier Qt 4.x versions.
