Thanks for this fun little programme. I played around with it last night
and here are some thoughts/reports:
- BUG: If nlayers is 14, the programme segfaults, any value above 14
causes the programme to consume memory until killed.
- The clipping issue is definitely annoying.
- I think a better reverb algorithm would definitely help the realism a
great deal.
- Overall, I thought the programme was better at simulating gunshots,
fireworks and firecrackers than out-and-out bomb blasts, not that I've
ever been privileged (???) to hear any close up. In particular, a
way to control the amount of bass (rumble) would be nice.
Thanks again for allowing the geeky kid in me to have a blast (bad pun
totally intended).
