IMO you don't need to blame yourself, but just be happy with your

Too many variables are involved in music listening, more than the

happy (even) with crackling Holiday records from '30 or Lomax
recordings.
You are 100% right and I was afraid that this would happen in stead of
getting real focus on my question.
I can probably blame my self for it because I did explain why I wanted to
know which is the best MP3 encoder is in stead just asking.
