I've got Audacity 1.1.3 at the moment. Are you talking about the FFT
filter? Would you be able to describe how to use it? Hit and miss?
I've no audio background unfortunately, this slows me down a lot!
I'm using version 1.2. Select a portion of your noise, select the "Noise
Removal" option from the effects menu and follow the instructions in the
dialog box.
