For a quick look at who might be getting greedy, 'top -b -n1 | less'
while things are moderately busy can be helpful.
It seems that when I set Jack in
'softmode' I don't get xruns anymore.
But I do get crishping sounds though.. Hard to say whether that sounds
better then xruns...
