do you have an idea why it won't compile, the
older version compiled fine.
It's explained in the manual -- you need a pre-release version of libsndfile.
There is a simple workaround documented in the Makefile. The only consequence
is that then you can't write WAVEX files with the Ambisionic GUID.
This should have been mentioned in the README as well, but it seems that's
missing (along with AUTHORS, BUILD and COPYING) !
