I haven't used the device yet but will within a day.
A potential stumbling block for this setup is the
kernel usb module choice of ohci for AMD vs uhci for
Intel. We thought it might be worth mentioning in the
README.
Something we've noticed is that aconnect is seeing
ports 0 -> 8. Of course that would appear to be nine
i/o ports. Is that correct?

USB has a latency of 1ms due to the frame-based
communications, the
latency on the PCI bus is certainly lower.
