I'm not. As I mentioned above, rotter splits the file each hour, and I'm
recording flac. The files (when they're good) are about 50 MB each.

if you're using WAV and recording 2 channels, this is impossible.
you absolutely cannot record more than 2^31 bytes into a WAV file.
