If you use
Jack1 it might be an option but I wonder how much you would gain with
that.
That was exactly my question, wether reserving one CPU might improve
latency (as in getting lower with no xruns) or stabilize Midi a bit more.
Or rather, wether this will have side effects I may not think of,
otherwise this can be tested.
