You disabled CONFIG_HIGH_RES_TIMERS right?
Been running 2.6.13.1-rt6 since last night (rt[78] wouldn't compile,
I've emailed Ingo about it) without crash so it would seem
CONFIG_HIGH_RES_TIMERS was my problem.
