My libsndfile was 1.0.17 I upgraded to 1.0.19 ..

confirm that version 1.0.18 working too?
For the Ambisonic extensions, yes. But since
1.0.19 apparently came quite close after 1.0.18
there must be a good reason for using 1.0.19.
