/me has already decided that the next audio-interface
(>1year away)
will be fw supported by freebob...
I'm interested when FW interfaces will reach latencies of pci ones.
MOTU 828 (firewire) on Mac's has 288 samples of latency. Better than
freebob's but still a bit worse than pci.
My Delta44 has 186-sample latency in 2x64 buffer setup.
It matters when you do realtime processing.
