I have sampled them all recently and while they look great, work
reasonably well and have lots of stuff in them application wise, I'm not

Rosegarden and some as-yet-undiscovered Linux application that can put
more than one line of lyrics on a staff.

Well, my laptop has a CDRW/DVD drive that it can boot from. The desktop
machine doesn't have a DVD drive at all.
