I've heard your recordings, you have a splendid singer and apparently
pretty good microphones.
Maybe it's got to to with genre (or taste or eays
or something else),
but I really feel a clean track need something, for instance EQ, to jump
out of the track and lift it.
I suppose it does have much to do with genre. I prefer singers like
Muddy Waters or Om Kholsoom, but their genres typically present the
music without much processing.
