You need to have alsa_pcm:capture_1 and _2 as inputs to JAMin and
alsa_pcm:playback_1 and _2 as outputs (or route to Ardour or some other
jack aware recording app). Look at the ports menu in JAMin.

Hello,
In order to set a linux based sound system, I want to route the "line
in" of my soundcard (Soundmax snd-intel8x0) into something I can get into Jamin as
the input.
For the moment, I can hear the "line in" good thing... But in Jamin I have
only the choice of "alsa_pcm" or "jamin" itself to set as
"in" or "out"
so if I use "alsa_pcm" for the jamin "in" and "jamin" for
the jamin
"out" nothing happen to the sound if I tweek sliders :-(
If I look into QJC I only have "capture_1" and "capture_2" in the

clients for alsa_pcm if I connect the two capture channels to the jamin
"in" and the jamin "out" to the alsa_pcm playbacks nothing happens

the sound if I tweek the sliders :-(
Something tells me that my "line in" is not routed by QJC am I wrong ?
if yes how can I get this working for me ?
Thanks in advance !
